And one of His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves so that you may find comfort in them. And He has placed between you compassion and mercy. Surely in this are signs for people who reflect.
Marha arrived fresh, still finding her footing. Zain was already two steps ahead — class of 2016, calm and certain. They crossed paths at a student organisation, thrown into the same team, the same late nights, the same shared goals.
Funny how the right room finds you.
Shared projects, everyday moments, conversations that ran longer than they needed to. They just… clicked. And when they finally talked about the future, really talked, it wasn't a question anymore.
So they made it official. Two people, one direction.
Marha in one city, Zain in another. The missing was real, the commitment was too. Phone calls became rituals, updates became second nature. Visits were rare, but the distance never won.
They chose each other, again and again, from 170 kilometers away.
